- 500 gr Fresh Pasta
- 300 gr of fresh or frozen shrimp
- Lemon rind from 2 organic lemons
- 200 gr butter
- Poppy seeds to taste
- Parsley to taste

You can also try 100% semolina pasta, whole-grain pasta or egg pasta.
Method:
If you are using fresh shrimp, clean them and remove the shells, leave them aside. In a pan melt butter and lemon rind on a low flame. Add the shrimp and cook, make sure they stay soft by not cooking for too long. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water, drain once it is ‘al dente’ and keep some pasta water aside. Sauté the pasta in the pan with the sauce and shrimp by adding a few ladles of pasta water and mixing. Serve with some fresh parsley, poppy seeds and grated lemon rind
