On our counter, Christmas arrives with five panettoni, each with its own personality: the Traditional, the one that needs no introduction (proper candied oranges and raisins); the Chocolate, hiding a creamy heart that derails any self-control; the Pistachio, green, velvety, and unapologetically vain; the Apple, Cinnamon & Almonds, which tastes like grandma’s kitchen but with a raised eyebrow; and the Hazelnut, a soft Piedmontese hug shaped like a festive dome. Five characters, one mission: make you say, “Alright… I’ll take another one.”
